What is Physical Well-being?

 The short-term choices we make can have a long-term effect on our overall physical health.  When we adopt healthy habits and make smart lifestyle choices about diet, exercise, and sleep, we feel better, have more energy, look better, and live longer.  Physical well-being is about having good health and enough energy to get things done on a daily basis.

The Gallup Survey measured responses to the following statements regarding physical well-being: 

  • Your physical health is near-perfect
  • In the last seven days, you have felt active and productive every day
  • You always feel good about your physical appearance

Maintaining a healthy weight allows us to live, learn, work, play, and visit our favorite places. Small choices can have a big impact.
