BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Barb is a longtime Warsaw resident who began her career in Atlanta after earning a B.A. in Secondary Education and English. She later moved to Winona Lake with her late husband, where she built a career as a Documentation and Training Specialist at organizations such as Zimmer Biomet and the Kosciusko County Convention & Visitors Bureau. She also earned an associate degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University and taught Microsoft Suite courses. Now retired, Barb stays active as a Shelter Advocate at the Beaman Home, a volunteer at Warsaw Community Church, and a member of both the Wagon Wheel Directors Club and the Lakeland Community Choir. She is proud to serve as Board President of Live Well Kosciusko.

 Marlene is President & CEO of EnPak LLC, a company she co-founded in 2011 that provides packaging, labeling, and inventory management services to the medical device industry. She previously spent 19 years at Johnson & Johnson in roles spanning Regulatory Compliance, Quality Systems, and IT Portfolio Management. Marlene holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an M.S. in Quality and Regulatory Affairs from Temple University. A Warsaw resident since 1999, Marlene is deeply involved in the community and serves on multiple boards, including Goshen Health, the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce, and Live Well Kosciusko. She was named 2018 Woman of the Year by the Chamber for her public service. 

 Dr. Liao was a Principal Scientist at DePuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction, now Johnson & Johnson. He works in R&D and is an expert in Tribology (a science of friction, wear and lubrication), MRI safety and ASTM/ISO testing method development.   Peter was born in Taiwan. He got polio when he was 6-month old, which resulted in limping of his right leg. His childhood dream was to study in the medical field to help people move. He achieved the goal by completing his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from University of Southern California and joining the orthopedics industry.   Dr. Liao is also a Distinguished Toastmaster of Toastmasters International. Through Toastmasters, Peter found his voice, and he would like to help others to find theirs. Peter has lived in Warsaw, Indiana for more than 20 years. He’d like to give back to the community and is excited to be a board member for Live Well Kosciusko. 

 Jacolby is a member of the Help Desk team at Winona IT, where he enjoys connecting with community members through his work. Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, he earned a B.A. in Exercise Science from Monmouth College and spent three years coaching college football at the Division III level. His passion for coaching and mentoring continues to shape his involvement in the community. Now living in Winona Lake with his wife Madison, Jacolby is eager to give back through his role on the Live Well Kosciusko Board and support the well-being of those in the county. 

Brandon is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones in Warsaw, Indiana, where he provides clients with investment guidance, financial planning, and business strategy. He holds several professional designations, including CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, and CEPA®, reflecting his broad expertise in the financial planning process. Brandon earned a degree in Business Marketing from Indiana University and previously worked in the banking and orthopedic industries. He is active in the community as a board member for Lakeland Christian Academy, a Chamber of Commerce Ambassador, and a contributor to several financial committees across Kosciusko County.

 Lorena is the Director of Childcare and Inclusive Programming at the Parkview Warsaw YMCA, where she leads a team focused on creating enriching, inclusive programs for children and families. She holds a B.A. in Journalism from Grace College and has a professional background in Human Resources. Known for her strong leadership and organizational skills, Lorena enjoys designing impactful events and ensuring programs are effective, financially sound, and grant compliant. Passionate about community and service, she brings her dedication to the Live Well Kosciusko Board to support meaningful health and well-being initiatives across the county. 

 Brenda is the CEO of Hoosier Nonprofit Consulting, LLC, where she provides strategic guidance, training, and fundraising support to nonprofit executives and boards. She holds a B.A. in Public Administration from Indiana University and previously served as Executive Director of Kosciusko Literacy Services and Chief Development Officer at the Kosciusko County Community Foundation. Brenda is passionate about building organizational capacity and driving meaningful development. As a dedicated community leader, she actively volunteers with her church and supports local organizations that make a positive impact in Kosciusko County.
