The Community Well-being Committee is one of five teams united in a county-wide effort to enhance health and quality of life across Kosciusko County. This team is specifically focused on promoting and supporting the well-being of our community.
Imagine a Kosciusko County where residents feel a deep sense of pride and are celebrated for their work in the community—what would that look like?
The Committee launched the Everyday Hero Recognition Program in 2025 to highlight individuals and businesses driving positive change in the county.
K-County First was created in partnership with Kosciusko Leadership Academy and the Community Well-being Committee to support the first responders that are working to make Kosciusko County a safe place to live, learn, work, play, and visit.
All Kosciusko County First Responders received a discount card in the beginning of the new year that can be used at participating locations.
The Everyday Hero Recognition Program celebrates ordinary people making an extraordinary impact in Kosciusko County. With the support of Shari Benyousky, we spotlight one local hero each month in Ink Free News, sharing their story to honor their contributions and inspire greater community involvement.
