The Energy Assistance Program (EAP) can help you pay your heat and electric bills! EAP is a federally-funded program through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). EAP provides a one-time annual benefit that can assist you with the high cost of home energy and can help if you are disconnected, or are about to get disconnected.

The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a U.S. government program that helps many low-income households pay for broadband service and internet connected devices.
Several local banks, including 1st Source Bank and Lake City Bank, can help with housing repairs (such as roofs, furnaces, AC, and well pumps) for income-eligible homeowners each year through the Neighborhood Impact Program.
Funding opportunities start in the spring. Get connected with them to be put in touch with a local nonprofit who will guide you through the process.
They can help with utility bills, work clothing, gas vouchers for emergency situations and assistance to families affected by disasters such as fire and flood. Many people without homes are helped as well with food, clothing and referral to other resources.

The Cancer Care Fund provides assistance to residents experiencing financial hardship due to being in treatment for cancer. Call 574-372-3500 for assistance.
Riley Kids Fund provides assistance with transportation for families with children seen at Riley’s Children’s Hospital. Call 574-372-3500 for assistance.
